Sleep, rest, that was Rowan's best moments when he wasn't doing nothing else except expect calls from any of his employees at the inn. He thought about his conversations with a pretty she-wolf named Jai, how it all went last night then looking down his watch it was early morning. Tired? Yes, he was a little but the experience of talking about Egypt made him giddy. Now, it was a beautiful morning and hunger wasn't the most pleasant feeling so he woke up, stretched, he wasn't wearing anything underneath other than his Prince of Persia boxers.
A red smoke was present behind him, he sensed her as his spine danced violently. Family, he abruptly turned around looking at his immaculate sister who happened to forget to use the damn door! Irritated, he crossed his arms giving her that annoyed look. "Paige? You do know there is the door. It's polite to ..KNOCK!"He did not smile, he did not even greet her. Paige sighed, her harem outfit moved as she moved, red bracelets donned on her left wrist as they clinked in unison.
She ran a finger along the clean, white sheets of her brother's unmade bed. A red top, red silk pants, matching colored shoes, and her flat stomach was bare which a garnet stone was seen shimmering in her navel. Skin was dark, copper coloring. Thin lips were shaded in a lovely, dark, cherry red. Her thin, elegant form of an Egyptian goddess lowered to the bed acting as if she owned the place. A sigh escaped her lips. "Oh brother, since when do WE use doors in this era? We are Jinn, it's time you forget that we're also family. If you wanted to, you could turn the entire city into sand and let the mortals know who and what we are. People who has no knowledge of us we'll come to realize that we can be pleasant or a total nightmare. Besides, who else appreciates you than me, and our father who misses you back home."Rowan thought about that, he shook his head then walked to sit on the right of his sibling who he embraced, still, he expressed a deep request. "I DON'T CARE. USE THE DOOR. It's all I ask, no matter how much magic we have. I don't want to abuse my gifts either. It's not right, when we can learn to co-exist with other races, Seattle is one that I could learn to adapt to. I met so many people, I learned that there tons of supernaturals who can learn to accept our people just as we do theirs. I don't expect anyone to like me. All I want to do is make them happy."He looked down to the ground near his bare feet, there was a pearl embedded in his navel.
Those brown hues watched as Paige fluidly stood from the bed, understanding him completely. Giving up, she nodded at his demand to use the door as it was polite to respect another's private quarters. "Okay, okay. I will. "A soft laugh, then he rose feeling a connection between brother and sister, his only sister who he hugged then thought of what to make for breakfast. It was still morning. "I'm starving. What would you like? "Paige grinned, following him into the small kitchen that had a white refrigerator, an island was in the center, beige counters, black sink, and beige cupboards. His sister sat in one of the floral chairs, they were comfortable with white, floral printed pillows. "Bacon, eggs, and some blueberry pancakes!"Hmm. Think he can do that, no magic was used, but anyone can make those. While his cooking was atrocious, his culinary skills wasn't that rusty. Rowan got out the pans, then went to work.
