A frown emerged on Luca's face, the straw he was sucking Coke through making obnoxious sounds as it gathered what few droplets were left in the cup. It was his lunch break, and the healer had decided to get one of those bacon cheeseburgers from Burgerking. The food itself was great, but the price served to remind him why he didn't get fast food very often. Once that business out of the way, Luca fished his LG Rumor Touch and Nate's business card out of his pockets. He really did feel bad about setting Nate off last night, and he figured that after letting him cool off for the night, now would be a decent time to apologize. That, and they still needed to finalize plans for their fishing trip.
So Luca punched the wolfs number into his phone, and waited. Once he heard the Israeli on the other line, Luca began to speak, clearing his throat before hand. "Hey, Nate? It's Luca." He gave Nate a second, then continued. "Look, I'm sorry about last night. It really wasn't any of my business to begin with, and I shouldn't have pushed it like that. I figured that letting you cool off was a pretty good idea."
After giving Nate a chance to respond, he went on to the next order of business. "So, the trip we're trying to plan. I can head out as early as tomorrow, or during this next week. Next weekend, I'll probably be out of town, and I know the weekend after that's the full moon. So it sounds like if we don't do it within the week, we'll have to wait for a little while. Maybe about three weeks, if my math's right. Either one's fine with me."
With that, Luca let himself lean back in his booth, waiting for what Nate had to say.
