If you have RPED longer than I have, here was the good times along with the bad.
You're an old school rper IF
1. You could enter a room and always find a bar fight or club argument.
2. You always ordered ale, whiskey etc and expect taverns, bars, and clubs to have them.
3. When you ordered, the bartender seems to have a supply. There is no such thing as not in stock.
4. You wonder why the guy in front of you suddenly whips out an Ak-47 or some other gun out of the blue. It's even the biggest than yours. Blinking, surprise..how does this guy able to put something from his person just like that. No detail or description. Even if he is poor he has a gun!
5. You can expect bars and clubs where ever you go. Nothing new.
6. Vampires was hip back then cause they did not sparkle. They simply were often moding or god-moding >.<!
7. Vampires suddenly have all this power, yet, you wonder why how the hell he gain all of these? You lose end of story. He's the greatest of them all and the baddest.
8. You always question how items just pops up out of the blue from nowhere. Cellphones etc without a reason how they got them.
9. As soon as you fall in love with the hottest guy in the room, there is no need to wait for committment. In about four weeks or even a month he asks if you can marry him
10. You often had jealous girlfriends waiting to chomp you inside and out if you're bothering their man/beau
11. Force hits and moding became awesome then (-sarcastic wise-)
12. Races were ridiculous. You did not have full blooded species but a mixture of races that just has popped up in the player's head. Vampire/werewolf/mixture of warlock/gnome. You're beginning to suspect this guy is from looney land
13. There wasn't bolts then. You can ignore them. That was it. Players were obnoxious so there wasn't a way to boot them from the room.
14. You can expect a wedding less than a day.
15. The girl/guy you've dated is secretly dating some other person and the day you come online is the day you have a huge surprise. Just married. Your character is suddenly forgotten. Relationships in SLs was like speed dating.
16. People could snap their fingers etc when using magic. Yet, there just wasn't no lack of breath or waste of energy. You got bread on the table, healing was easy, and oh! Shapeshifters shifted without a problem.
17. You had powerful, the player did not explain how they reached that level nor tried.
18. Everyone was a god then.
19. Super Saiyans became a race even outside of anime rps, they existed in modern rps too.
