Could there be anything more tedious than having to live in a hotel and look for a house? Well Sure, she worked just about every night, Realtors didn't really want to show houses at midnight. The list could go on and on. At least a personal use vehicle wasn't next on the list. No she had brought her own 370z with her. If someone had been paying enough attention they would have seen Addison quickly shake her head.
She walked down toward the lake, looking over the place. Seemed to be a few people still out that night. Obsessed runners, teenagers and young adults holding hands and the like, even a rare child that was being carried back to the car after what appeared to be an exhausting playtime. She could only think to herself, where they all stupid, the night's moon was going to be full. She wore a pair of Merell's with some Artist cut jeans from American Eagle, and a mocha colored pullover hoodie. Only a bit of the chocolate colored Cami could be seen beneath. Never without her credentials and government issued Glock firmly secured to her right hip. Concealed under the hoodie.
Arriving at the covered floating deck, she push all the thoughts of work and pretty much the horrid adventure of looking for another place to live. It would all get figured out sooner or later. No worries right? A light cool wind blew across the water, and over her already ice cold frame. Not that she noticed anything other than her chestnut colored tresses that teased at her cheek. Lifting long pale slender fingers she moved the stray hair, brushing back behind each ear and allowing it to fall down her back. The moon wasn't at it's apex, but still it's fullness against the clear night sky gave a luminous glow to the lake's water. That same dark liquid rippled with each gust of the evening's breeze. The deck steadily rocking back and forth with the waves it caused.
It was a breathtaking view, and exactly what she needed at the time. Leaning back slightly she stretched her legs out in front of her, crossing them at the ankles. Allowing just her shoulders to rest on the backing of the bench she had taken a seat on several minutes earlier.

It wasn't always like this, hiding under flabs of skin to protect the true nature. His beauty was perfection in every magazine that could not fit, his white hair was long and fell just before his round buttocks that had a long, white garment that looked as if he was an Egyptian god. When you look at him, that is the idea of his appearance but the look itself could fool even many including those not of a human nature. His eyes was the purest of white, his flesh glistened as the moon's florescent aura shoned on the genie's slender frame. Muscular nothing compared to most of his race as he was a rare sight to see, the envy of many men and the affection of the fairer sex whose pools will look, but his body was like something you should never make contact with at some museum, almost looking as if a bust sat on top of a low pedestal. Rowan Willis stood close to the water's edge, a young teen spotted him, she gasped at the mere sight as if he just could not be real. No never.
Struck by his immaculate male charms, his ears was small and pointed like that of a faerie, embedded in the left, lower lobe was two silver, small earrings hidden beneath ivory-colored mane. His white orbs looked, perceiving what he can other than the girl who stared at him. A smile so pleasant he can feel the girl's emotions of lust, almost as if she was going to faint. Staring really was rude, though, he wasn't irritated in the last of her long-lasting eye scrutinizing every length, curve, form, and memorizing how tall he was in this form. The identity of jinn did not register, for she did not have much knowledge of them but obviously she did not seem to care since she was caught in the moment. "Problem?"A deep, harmonial voice rang through her ears. It was the song of Etopia when he finally began to speak.
The teen swallowed, he watched her very carefully almost as if he can read her..thoughts, not that he could nor need to. Powerful jinn could, but he was just a young jinn whose working at some inn downtown that was his to entertain guests who came through the walls of hospitality. So many people miss out, so many out there has lots to do and so busy, what do they really do with their lives? Fun is the best part of living. No wonder people's lives drop short. They do not know how to have their own ideal of excitement.
Upon waiting for an answer, her boyfriend a few distance called her. "Stacy! Stacy!"She did not want to go, all she wanted to do was stay and peer at him for another minute but she thought of it, then waved at him. Running off, he shrugged then quickly shrunk down into his human version of himself. His hair was dark brown, it seemed to have grown back after he cut it not too long ago. His skin was a little dark and tan, coloring was brownish, rich looking.
Upon his transformation to human, he spotted a very specious woman who was all by herself. Guess, this is a job for the happy-goer, Rowan must introduce himself. His shields in place as it tighten the magic lying within it's walls. He could feel something from her as he walked close. She was attractive to his eye, there was magnet pulling him in her direction. He was young, but there was a man of energetic nature one who saw fun as primary part of life. Not sure what her ideal of a good time was. "Good evening miss. This sure is nice."Small talk, Rowan did not mind it one bit. Got things going even meeting someone who you did not know the name of, still his horizons does have to be sharpened don't they?

It was only when she heard his voice did Addison actually look up and over at him. She had heard both the kid and the boy calling the other girl. Even him speak the one word Problem. She didn't feel like it was any of her business though. So, naturally she continued to look out over the water and quietly sitting there. Solace was welcomed. She pulled the hood of her sweatshirt up and over, covering her head and framing her face, just moments before the djinn had walked over.
" Sir. Indeed, it is a very pleasing evening and the scenery is nice." She didn't have the least issue with the polite politics of idle small talk or chit chat. She then moved over on the bench she had claimed as her own, in case the djinn wanted to sit. " Addison Constance, a pleasure to make your acquaintance." Even had he not given his name. He had been the first one to speak so there was no need for her to wait on him, she could do this first.
She would wait on his name before she started speaking again, only a glance over at him quietly before hand. " I actually like the weather and sites here. I've only recently moved into the area. Where I am from it is always hotter than a day spent in hades." Giving a low chortle
Her humor was something that just had to grow on you, but she wasn't about to apologize to anyone over it. She slumped back down in the sit once more again, allowing her narrow shoulders to rest against the wood backing.

Hades aye? He can relate to that pretty much. Lowering his slender frame on the left next to her enjoying the quiet evening hearing the teen love in the air all around him. The late spring air was coming to a close and summer was starting to slip up so fast he did not notice it until now. Then looking at her after she said about her origins, he wasn't sure where she was from but the question there will eventually come up sometime right now is not one of them. "I am use to hot myself. "He's from the desert sands far east, his Middle Eastern accent was proof he was all about humidity where water was often scarce.
Did someone like him have to worry about all that? Not really, he can conjure a puddle from out of nothing without a thought. He just tended to go about his life in a mundane sense but his fellow jinn felt like he wasn't living up to his roots of who he really was. A deep tone of voice from within, he spoke in a gentlemanly like fashion as if he was of a noble kin. He was that, but he acted as if he was of low class only to disguise the true nature of his royal blood that flowed in his veins like a channel. "I'm Rowan. It is very much nice to meet you too. "The last thing he wanted was to be dull and boring to the lady for whom he came to see as something to look upon.
He then found a chance to make use of niceties. "Addison, it's a very beautiful name."His brown oculars looked to the side of her face then notice some children a little closer who was a little far from their parents. Hearing their names being called, he smiled at such youth that it pretty much reminded him of himself when he was a kid. He made a few friends in his neighborhood, three of them all boys and he was the fourth, they all grew up together. There was a snapshot they took that each shared so neither could forget the other.

Yes, there was the fading background of children, parents and teenagers about the park in the area not to far behind them as two were seat out on the patio/ pier. Addison continued to glance between her new acquaintance, Rowan, his name already memorized along with his basic appearance, and the beauty of the lake in font of them. There wasn't anything that could or would be considered having the ability to distract her. She fully respected the man (djinn) so she quietly listened while he spoke her feet causing the bench swing to sway ever so slight.
A sage smile was offered, there was an accent, but shouldn't couldn't identify it. " Yo have dealt with the heat. Well, it is seems that both of us are in luck now. From what I have been told, i has been said that 90 percent of the days are overcast and a nice fall or spring like temperatures." Well maybe no everyone would agree with her, but she didn't mind she enjoyed it not to mentioned that it seemed with the grayish overcast, dawn arrived later than she remembered from the Eastern seaboard, and dusk pushed in quicker which meant she could be outside in he fresh air.
She doubted that Rowan could ever be dull or boring with anyone. She just didn't feel that in his nature and the fact he could have just walked past her without a second glance but no he took the time to speak, and make an acquaintance, if not even a friend perhaps. " Thank you, my full name is Addison Regan Constance. Regan was my mother's middle name, and I had a twin named Andrew. I do like the name, it always makes me think of my family I was lucky to be given it.. Most people shorten it to Addi. You are welcome to do so if you wish." A sincere smile was offer, she was way to old for her to slip up and show any fang, but there wasn't any doubt to the honesty behind it. She enjoyed speaking with the man. " Your name, Rowan, it is different not one you hear very much." She made sure not to get to personal, some people didn't feel as forthright as she, or they could just be private people and she didn't want to disregard that.
It was only then she looked at her watch once more. " You know we should really be getting out of her. It is a full moon tonight." She gave a slight nod of her head toward the darkened sky. " " It is only two hours before the moon is at it's peak." She stood then, causing the hood of the hoodie to fall back and allow the night sky then to accent her features. She would wait a few moments to see if he would be leaving as well. After all, they could walk be to the parking area together.

He felt the sway of the swing, it sure was nice talking to someone like this. So, they did have something in common when it comes to heated places it's getting use to. His eyes looked out even as Addison told about her sister and how she received the name. Addison as well as the rest was even more prettier than the first one. "All of it is beautiful, Regan even more."The words coming from his lips was nothing but real. Rowan's childhood left full of restrictions, do's and donts, he was raised in proper form and remained a very good kid all his life. He has never done evil too much, except the time when his father taught him how to reap the souls of those with them within.
Rowan could sense a soul in another a mile away, he could tell if that soul is pure, evil, tainted, or foul. One thing between them was no doubt similar. There was a sense of coldness, his magic tapped into her essence even if she was shielding, djinn are capable of passing most red tape but as for the rest of her he wasn't sure of anything else only that she was someone he's met before many times, so many that his youth did not leave a scar behind for he's worn plenty of that too. "Addi, I'll stick to that."He rolled the name off his tongue delicately, as if like velvet for everytime he said it. Rowan almost never seen unhappy even if things gotten worse, you would see steadiness, but anger was rare even sadness.
He was the type who hid what he feels so well, that empaths included has a hard time tapping in too much. His resistance to most magic made him useful to most who will see his potential. Everyone was useful, he of all was from what his dream told him. The dream. The one where he was completely nude, it was a beautiful place with luscious flowers of blues, purples, reds, even pink ones. A full flower garden. Fireflies surrouded his form, he was human but his true self stood where his human shield was before. No, he kept the dream to himself, no one will believe him even if he told it to another.
He followed as she got up from the swing. The full moon is not as new to him, Rowan knew much what goes on during these kinds of phases and knew it was never a good idea for anyone to be out during these times. Quickening his pace, he sidestepped alongside Addi thinking maybe she can help him with a problem he's been having. Not now. "I am from oversees, I have one older sister myself. My father came from Arabia and my mom, she's Egyptian. "His father is a djinn and his mother a witch, this meant he was djinn but his blood held wytchen blood as well. Come to think of it, he can create power and make potions cause his mother showed him her ways aside from his dominate half. What skills did Rowan have? "I'm originally from the desert sands of which is Cairo. My homeland. "His skin was a little dark, but not as dark as his mother's skin, she was past beautiful for she was immaculate with hair of ebony flowing down the slope of her small back as well as her dark brown eyes.
He loved all of his people, loyalty is something he knew best as it was the biggest part of his strongest traits. There was a noble attitude about him, for he was a Prince after all. A real Prince often never reveal their social status in public only because how many people would start asking him tons of questions, for his time was eternity being what he was it was obvious. One of the things he and Addi shared within the supernatural world is they both fed on energy. His was souls, his kind needed it like a drug needed a host. Rowan was trying to find other means around not needing them.
