Did you every reall start to cry over something that you wrote? In Emery's case, she had. And it was because of it that she decided to stop it, tearing to shreds the half a dozen beginnings to a letter she'd never send and toss them away. Sleep wouldn't be coming on this her last night in her brother's home. The newlyweds were coming home the next evening and she still had no idea of where she'd be living and she wasn't sure the options she had were viable anymore. Though at present, she'd crashed at Mr. Cross's. It was almost as bad as it was at the beginning of the school year when she'd had the bottom of her world torn out by the head bitch on campus.
Sweats in black and a navy tee-shirt were worn along with her grey hoodie. She added her DC sneakers and would put the puppy on the leash to head out to the park. yea, it was dark. So what. She'd done it a million times before. Besides, it's not like anyone cared that she'd left the Tavern all alone. Abandoned again by those who said they cared. She was starting to get use to it, though, a complex might be forming. It could happen. Halo had stopped coming around. Olga was MIA. And the others, well, yea.
They reached the park and thankfully, it was quiet. It was night, so that was a good thing. Bench would be found and the dog danced about her feet before hopping up to curl into her lap. At least she ad the dog, right. Phone was pulled out and she'd place that call to Ursula....the woman in charge of her itinerary and plans for her summer trip to Paris. Message would need to be left and that was ok for Emery.
Perhaps a change of scene was needed.
